Selma Durand is a French industrial designer based in the US. She is currently designing and developing the next generation of hardware products at Google in California.

Prior to this, she worked for global design and innovation firm IDEO in New York where she designed products and their ecosystems, translating big picture design thinking into actionable, tangible, thoughtful designs for clients such as Delta Airlines, American Express, Nike, Tiffany & Co and IHG among others.

She started her career in Paris, designing eyewear for Face à Face, from early sketch to final production. This is where she developed a keen eye for design details, colors, materials and manufacturing processes.
